A gala of European calibre.
Barber of the Year is the culmination of the Barber Battle CZ/SK and SK/CZ Barber Battle contests. Only the very best from the Czech Republic and Slovakia make it to the stage – and who leaves with the title is decided in the hall.
But this night is not just for barbers. Bring your partner, family and friends – the people who cheer for you all year should be there when your name is called. And if you are not in the trade, you will enjoy it just as much.

The nearest public transport stop is Sportovní, a few minutes’ walk from Zoner Bobyhall.
By car & parking
You can park around Hotel Boby. Enter Sportovní 559/2A, Brno into your navigation.
Where to stay
Hotel Cosmopolitan Bobycentrum is right in the Bobycentrum complex – after the afterparty, bed is just a few steps away.
Doors open
Entry from 17:00. Just show your ticket on your phone or printed – each QR code is valid only once.
Dress code
Creative formal casual – men in a suit and dress trousers, women in a sheath dress, both with creative touches.
Entry rules
There is no age limit, but alcohol is served only to guests aged 18 and over. Please follow the instructions of the event staff.
What can I look forward to at the gala?
The contest, the Barber of the Year announcement and a full evening show – a laser show, dance, live music, a hairshow and a few surprises we will not reveal in advance. The night ends with an afterparty.
How do I get my tickets?
Right after payment you receive them by e-mail as a PDF, and they are also available online via the link in the e-mail. Just show the QR code at the entrance on your phone or printed.
Can I choose a specific seat?
Yes. Every ticket is for a specific seat at a table or in a booth, which you choose on the interactive seating plan.
What does a Premium ticket include?
A seat at a selected Premium table plus wine and tapas served to the table. The full gala programme and afterparty are included, of course.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes, free of charge. Pass it on yourself on the My ticket page – the link is in your ticket e-mail. The new holder receives the ticket by e-mail and the original QR code stops working. Alternatively, write to us at info@barberoftheyear.cz.
Can I get a refund?
Tickets cannot be cancelled. The only exceptions are serious circumstances such as a death in the family – in that case, write to us at info@barberoftheyear.cz and we will consider each request individually. If the event is cancelled, we refund the full ticket price.
Who competes, and can the public attend?
Only barbers nominated through Barber Battle CZ/SK and SK/CZ Barber Battle compete. The gala night is open to everyone – barbers, their families, friends and fans.
What is the dress code?
Creative formal casual. Men: a suit and dress trousers; women: a sheath dress – both with creative touches.
Is there an age limit?
No, there is no age limit. Alcoholic drinks are served only to guests aged 18 and over.
Where can I park?
Parking is available around Hotel Boby, next to Zoner Bobyhall (Sportovní 559/2A, Brno).
How can I pay?
Online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay via the secure Stripe gateway. Prices are final and in Czech crowns (CZK); we are not VAT registered.
